There was nothing but good vibes when we transformed the Riverfront Center into a disco-themed party overlooking Tampa’s beautiful riverwalk. Freddie Mercury, the band Queen, and Queen Elizabeth were the inspiration for the evening’s festivities. Guests entered the event upstairs, where an English pub themed facade greeted them with a cocktail. Brightly colored fabric and British flags were draped across the silent auction area, transforming the open space into a room fit for British royalty. The main event area was downstairs and along the river. Tables were crisp with white tablecloths, and colorful hydrangeas donned a mini crown. Guests enjoyed the cityscape view and the incredible Queen cover band who kept them dancing throughout the evening.
In Florida, the weather can be unpredictable at times. Fortunately, we are always ready with a plan B. To make sure equipment wasn’t damaged by potential rain, we moved the band to an upstairs patio. Not the original set up, but we think Freddie Mercury was looking down on us with approval as we showcased the cover band more gloriously – above the crowd.
Despite the rain, our client had an incredible turnout, and the guests were rockin’ and rollin’ to raise funds for an essential Tampa Bay non-profit!
